With that philosophy, Tjitze Meter started HatchTech in 1996. It began with a unique idea and a first customer in a nearby village. Today, HatchTech is on the global map.
A breakthrough in 1998
The HatchTech MicroClimer concept ensures optimal egg temperature during incubation. Innovative technology that sets HatchTech apart.
HatchCare, where animal welfare goes hand in hand with better results
The development of the innovative HatchCare system begins, based on insights from previous products. The HatchCare technology ensures that chicks have immediate access to feed, water and light. Proud to be the first in the world to offer this.
Going global
HatchTech launches its subsidiary in Ukraine and expands it significantly in the following years. Here, HatchTech starts producing its own products, delivering high-quality products at the best possible price.
In-egg gender identification
2017. The world’s first in-egg gender identification technology becomes a reality. In 2020, the very first Respeggt eggs are available in Germany, the Netherlands and France. The rest of the world awaits!

It’s 2023 and we enter our brand-new, energy-neutral head office! Previously, due to the growth of our team in the Netherlands, we were spread across four different locations. Now, we are all together again in one fantastic workplace.
